About

 

          Put Him on Thin Ice is a comic book script dedicated to the story of Bobby Knight, the undercover FBI agent who has been looking to snag mob boss, Grambly McThistle, for three long years. Having sacrificed his own family in the wake of his job, Bobby longs for a real, familial relationship, one he finds in his undercover location's front desk worker, Tommy. Just when Bobby thinks he's got Grambly in the crosshairs, he's shocked to learn that Grambly has bonded with Tommy over an unexpected subject: ice skating. Even more unfortunate for Bobby than that fact, is the fact that Grambly isn't opposed to using Tommy as a bargaining chip.

Panel 1: A close up of a set of hands (Bobby’s) furling out the strands of string in the mop to try and cover the laptop entirely.

Panel 2: Same profile view as before, Bobby is messing with the mop and the janitor’s door slams open, and Grambly appears on the other side.

1. SFX:                         SLAM

Panel 3: Close-Up of Grambly with his arms crossed and an impartial expression.

2. GRAMBLY:             Getting ready to mop again?

Panel 4: Close-Up of Bobby, angry. His eyes are piercing in a fiery gaze as he glares at Grambly off-panel.

3. BOBBY:                    Just got done.

Panel 5: This final panel is a close-up of Grambly’s face. It truly is covered in scrapes and scratches, but in spite of this he’s handsome, with a square jaw. An evil smile finds his face. 

4. GRAMBLY:             Mop water is bad for technology.
